Details
Discover the next big thing in water sports: Wake Foiling. Unlike wakeboarding or wake surfing, wake foiling feels like flying above the water—smooth, effortless, and incredibly fun. The foil lifts you 2–4 feet above the surface at speeds of around 8–12 mph, so you glide over the chop instead of bouncing through it.
Foils deliver that buttery-smooth sensation all day long, even when the water’s rough, making them perfect for afternoon sessions when conditions aren’t ideal for traditional wakeboarding or wakesurfing.
When wake surfing, you start by holding a rope to get up on the board. Once you gain balance and control, you can let go and ride the endless wave created by the Seariders wake boat.
The Foil Board:
In most board sports, the shape and style of the board are everything. With wake foiling, it’s the foil wing that does most of the work, lifting you above the water for that floating, powder-day feeling.
Whether you’re a beginner eager to try something new or an experienced rider looking for your next challenge, wake foiling offers a unique, thrilling experience on the water.
Know Before You Go
- Suitable for all levels: Beginners will receive a safety briefing and demo, guided by certified instructors. Even if you've never tried foiling, you'll feel supported and in control.
- Ideal conditions: Wake foils work best at speeds between 8–12 MPH, creating lift even on choppy water—so it's a smooth ride when wakesurfing or wakeboarding aren't possible.
- Safety-first equipment: Modern foil boards are lighter and safer than ever. However, we recommend using a helmet and proper instruction to minimize risks.
- Board progression: It’s a rewarding learning curve—many riders fall in love with it and transition from wakeboarding or wakesurfing.
What To Bring
- Swimsuit or quick-dry base layer, plus extra clothes for after the session.
- Sunscreen (SPF), sunglasses, and a hat to protect against the Dubai sun.
- Non-slip water shoes for safe boarding and disembarking.
